Can I message customers about weather, road closures or reminders?

Yes, with the Broadcasts module. It's for operational messages (weather warnings, road closures, ferry disruptions, pickup reminders, recalls), sent by SMS and/or email. You choose the audience by booking state — for example everyone on hire right now, or everyone picking up in the next two days — and can filter by location or vehicle.

Broadcasts is an optional module you switch on first, in Settings › Modules. Email works straight away; to send by SMS you add your own Kudosity credentials in Broadcast settings. It's for operational comms, not marketing, and it respects opt-outs.
