Settings → Integrations → List on Indie Hire.
This is a hidden module while we roll it out, so the page only appears once we have switched it on for your tenant. There is no self-serve toggle yet. Ask us, and we will turn it on for your workspace.
What happens once it's on
Choose which vehicle classes and individually sold vehicles to publish, then click Switch on. Glovebox creates (or links) your Indie Hire operator account and starts sending your selected fleet, photos, rates, features and pickup locations, straight from the data already in Glovebox. You never re-type your fleet into a second system.
Choosing what to list
The first time you open the page, every active vehicle class and individually sold vehicle is ticked by default. Untick anything you do not want renters finding on Indie Hire, then Save selection. Come back and change the selection whenever you like; it takes effect on the next sync.
If you already have an Indie Hire account
If an Indie Hire operator account already exists under your owner email, Glovebox links to it instead of creating a new one, and Indie Hire emails that account a confirmation link. Nothing is published until that link is clicked.
Bookings stay on your site
Indie Hire shows renters your fleet and sends them to your own Glovebox booking page to book. It never takes the booking itself, never charges a fee, and never sees your customers, bookings or payments. The only things it reads are your fleet, pricing and locations, kept in sync automatically whenever you change your fleet, with a full reconcile once a day regardless.
Turning it off
Switch off on the same page disconnects immediately: your API key for the connection is revoked straight away, and Indie Hire unlists your vehicles within a few minutes. Reselecting and switching back on later picks up from where you left off.
If it did not work
- I can't find "List on Indie Hire" under Settings. It is not switched on for your workspace yet. Ask us to turn it on.
- A vehicle class is not showing up on Indie Hire. Check it is ticked on this page and has at least one active, bookable vehicle. Indie Hire only ever sees vehicle classes and vehicles Glovebox itself would currently let someone book.
- Nothing published after I switched on. If you already held an Indie Hire account under the same owner email, check that account's inbox for the confirmation link. Nothing goes live until it is clicked.
